I've been designing web pages and creating web graphics since 1998. When I first started, I used an HTML editor, but soon made the decision to learn HTML code. It was too frustrating trying to design pages when I didn't understand exactly what I was doing. Since then, I've been hand coding my pages using NotePad, adding knowledge of CSS, JavaScript and PHP.
My interest in designing web pages lead to my interest in creating web graphics. I used to spend hours searching for just the right graphic(s). One day I stumbled on a site with a Photoshop tutorial. I was a little dismayed when I looked up the price for Photoshop, but later discovered a site that used Paint Shop Pro to create web graphics. I used Paint Shop Pro for years, adding Photoshop Elements and ,eventually, Illustrator CS3. My recent work has been done in Illustrator.
